About Us
The beauty of data science, we believe, is derived from its applicability to a magnificently diverse range of careers. At Derivatives of Data Science, we strive to embody this notion - presenting unique opportunities that nurture careers in economics, mathematics, bioinformatics, and basically anything "data-scientific." If you are a major/minor in any of those previous categories (especially data science!), we cannot recommend Derivates of Data Science more highly to you.
No previous Data Science experience required. Our membership base is composed of STEM and non-STEM majors, ranging from statistics to history - we look to cater to as broad an audience as possible. We believe that data science in this day and age should be uplifted as a habit of thought, a unique manner in which one can gain insight into how our world works. If you have questions as to whether you’ll fit (but don’t stress, you totally will), don’t hesitate to reach out!
